For 22 years, Dr. Ztevan Snider ran the biological experimentation done by the Nazi, and after the end of WW2  he oversaw the CIA’s MK-ULTRA program, an mutation and mind-control campaign launched during the height of Cold War paranoia. In addition to developing several viruses and toxic handkerchiefs for assassinating leaders of Communist governments, Dr. Ztevan Snider ran clandestine surgical experiments on unsuspecting U.S. citizens, putting drugs in their drinks and using them as guinea pigs for his greatest experiment, creating life. 
However fate led him to try and drug a Tremere mage, who pretended to be unconcious and after discovering Snider´s laboratory, chose him as his childe and successor, offering Dr. Ztevan Snider the gift of immortality and biothaumaturgy, which were used in putting together body parts to create horrors such as the Flesh golem

Por 22 anos, Dr Ztevan Snider controlava os programas de experimentos biológicos dos Nazistas, e depois da guerra mundial 2, ele criou o programa da CIA, MK-ULTRA, qual usava mutações e controle-de-mente durante a Guerra Fria. Não feliz em desenvolver viruses e venenos, ele começou expermentar em cidadões americanos, drogando as bebidas de inocentes e usando eles como ratos de laboratorios na sua missão para criar vida. Isso levou ele a tentar drogar um mago Tremere qual fingiu de estar drogado, e depois de se-surpreender com o laborat´rio do Dr Ztevan, escolheu ele como seu sucessor e lhe-deu immortalidade, junto com o segredo de biotaumaturgia, qual Dr. Ztevan usou para criar à partir de partes de corpo, o Golem de carne

The fire-lover/ O amante de fogo

A pyrotechnician by profission, since young Duncan was fascinated by fire. His love for the flames broght him a lucrative carreer setting up explosions in Hollywood films and rock concerts. It also atarcted the attention of the Tremere council, who needed someone unafraid of flames to get a tome from the Inferno. Thus a deal was made, and Duncan has brought over his passion for flames to his vampiric life, and uses that against other vampires who tremble with their natural fear of flame.

Um pirotecnico por profissão, desde jovem Dncan era fascinado por fogo. Esta paixào lhe trouxe uma carreira lucrativa no Hollywood, preparando explosões e efeitos especiaspara films e shows de rock. Isso tambem atraiu a atencão do conselho Tremere, quem precisavam de alguem sem medo para resgatar um antigo livro do Inferno. Uma negociação foi feita, e ele ganhou a immortalidade em troca dos serviços prestados. Sua afinidade pelo fogo lhe seguiu até sua vida pós-morte, e ele aproveita disso, usando fogo contra os outros vampiros, quais temem com seu medo natural de fogo.
