Elliot Bonds, Britain's number 1 spy, after killing his number one enemy, the terrorist Masterind Mikhail, was escaping through the streets of Russia when he was embraced by an unknown 13th generation Malkavian...and he became insane. Whenever he heard the word "why", he started believing he was his fallen arch-nemesis, and during a 2-year stay in Russia (not hearing one English "why") he rebuilt Mikhail's evil empire, and has made plans to kill Elliot. Luckily, a visiting tourist (and the word "why") brought him back to his real self, and he now is in New York learning to use his vampiric abilities under the tutelage of a butler working for a mysterious Malkav elder... and unknown to him, he is about to meet an old lover.

Com sorte um turista diz a palavra porque, e Elliot voltou a si, e agora esta em Nova Iorque aprendendo usar os dons vampiricos com um mordomo de um ancião Malkav misterioso, e por chance, ele encontrara o ex-amante dele
